Our story

Travelling far, starting a new life in a new country — it's a beautiful adventure. But for me, it only had value on one condition: bringing my animals with me.

For years, every departure was heartbreaking. Leaving them behind was unthinkable. And finding the right people to care for them — someone I truly trusted — was a puzzle every single time. Every packed suitcase came with the same knot in my stomach.

So one day, I decided to stop choosing: I left with them. Except another wall went up. Customs, vaccines, titre tests, permits, certificates, deadlines… Information scattered, contradictory, never clear. Nothing concrete, nothing precise. I spent nights on official sites in languages I didn't master, terrified my animals would be turned away at the border.

And then one day, the worst happened. On one of my trips, my animals were held back at customs. A missing paper, one detail — and everything stopped right there, a few metres away from me. Fear took over: utter helplessness, the thought of them being turned away, or worse. That moment, I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Pawscleared was born from that fear — and from all that struggle. I told myself: no one should have to go through this.
